The Memory Nest - Adorbs - & Hello There Handsome

I'm back today with another layout using the darling My Mind's Eye Adorbs collection.,  I just love the colors and patterns in this line.   When I was trying to figure out what photos to use I remembered my son on Easter Sunday in a bright pink tie.  He wears bright pink now and then in remembrance of a little baby we lost.  It's his way of remembering her and he feels connected when he wears it. 

This line was perfect to capture the Easter/ spring feel of this photo. 

 

I used the fun pre-printed tag from the deco brads set that says "hello there" as the first part of my title and added the green letters to spell handsome to pull the green over.  I also used a few of the stickers (the little chevron arrows, the be happy label on the bottom right of the photo and the pink arrow). I used the washi tape in the pink dot both at the top above my photo and then folded it in half to put under my & symbol brad.  

I did use this darling sketch from Liz Chedester.  I loved it!

The Memory Nest January Reveal

It's the new year!  I can't believe it!  And today at The Memory Nest, we have our January Kit Reveals.  I love this day as I enjoy seeing all of the fun layouts created by the Design Team!  There is so much talent  in these ladies and they continually inspire me! 

I was given this fun kit from My Mind's Eye called Adorbs.  Here are the papers and embellishments I got to play with:


And here is my first layout using a fun announcement/invite of my new little niece:

I used the cute pink as my background, stitched a rectangle on my layout and created some patterned paper layers inside it.  I used the washi tape to add just a bit more pink to the green paper, added some of the fun deco brads around the border of the rectangle, punched a little banner for the top corner and added my cluster near my title.  For my title I used the hello from the deco brads pack.

3 Scrappy Boys December Layouts
