5 Sisters in Seattle

Here's another I created at my Retreat last weekend.
This one I created using an Extra Paper Kit from 3 Scrappy Boys, which is a great price at $3.24.  Heather has some fab kits for not a lot of money.  Just type in Extra Paper and you'll find all kinds of great bargains on paper.  Don't forget to look in the Past kit clearance section as well as in the Winter Liquidation.

I used a fun sketch by Liz Chedester for this
and was inspired with a few other challenges:

At Scrap Our Stash I used the challenge to use a doily and at My Scraps and More there was a challenge to use a number in your title.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oregon Coast

This second layout, I created at my retreat was using a sketch from Creative Scrappers.  When I saw it I was quite excited to give it a try.  It was perfect for my Oregon Coast photos.  Here's the sketch and layout:

I was also inspired by the Scrap Our Stash Challenge to use Misting.  I misted the spot behind my title using a stencil.

Thanks for stopping by!  I'll be back in the next few days with more from my retreat.

U Make Me Smile

I was able to go to a Scrapbook Retreat last weekend and was able to get quite a few layouts complete.  I had a wonderful time and loved playing along with so many fun challenges.  I thought I'd share them a little at a time so as to not overwhelm.

This first layout was definitely one of my favorites for the weekend.  Maybe it's because of the new line I used or maybe it's the fun photo I got to scrap.  Either way I was happy with this one.

I used this fun sketch from Paper Secrets but I rotated it:

And I had to use something for each letter of LUCKY
L- Letters, U - The letter U, C-Crate paper, K - Kid in my photo and Y - Yellow

I was also inspired from a recipe challenge at MY Scraps & More to use something blue, do some fussy cutting(the typewriter) and use a punch (I did the butterfly)

And for a fun birthday challenge at Scrap Our Stash I used 3 or more pp layers.

Paper Secrets March 1 Sketch

So I was able to get a little bit of scrappy time in tonight and was very inspired by this fun sketch over at Paper Secrets:

Plus you have to use items on your layout to spell out Spring.  So here is my take on it:

And here is what I used for each letter:
S - Stickers
P- Patterned Paper, Preprinted title
R- Ribbon
I- Ink (inked edges)
N- Numbers
G- Gemstones (my black circles)

I also created this with a fun Extra Paper Kit from 3ScrappyBoys featuring Crate Paper On Trend and what's even better, the paper pack is clearanced for only $2.  You can't beat that!  Plus there are several other extra paper kits marked down.  It's a fun way to get a nice variety of paper without spending a lot.

Love, Love These Girls

Today I'm up on the 3 Scrappy Boys blog sharing this layout I created using the February Add-On  Kit. I decided to use the Carta Bella It's a Celebration papers from the kit.  I love how easy the prints are to use a lot of them without it being too busy.  This photo is my dd and her college friends.  They were a positive influence on her and made her stay there so much fun!

Everything on the layout is from the Add-On Kit except the mist, sequins and the navy alphabet, which is a QK die.  I was totally inspired by this darling sketch at My Scraps & More Sketch Blog.  Love it!!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great rest of your week!!
