While I was away at a scrappy retreat this last week I was busy creating cards as well as layouts. We decided to challenge ourselves to create cards to send to Operation Write Home, a wonderful organization that sends hand-made blank cards to the soldiers to be able to send a note home to their families. Here are a few of the ones I created. You'll see a few tomorrow when I post about my GDT layouts and projects.
The first card I created was using this fun sketch from
Cardabilities as well as my Lucky Charms Kit from
The Memory Nest.
Here is what I created. Isn't that chipboard piece so cute?!
Then I used some scraps from a challenge they had to create this fun little birthday card.
Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back tomorrow with a few more layouts to share.
I enjoy making cards and sending to OWH too. These will be a hit! Your chipboard piece is fantastic, but I also love the twine and pennants in the birthday card :)
