I am so happy life finally worked out to allow me some scrappy time. With that time I was inspired by several challenges. First, I loved the color challenge at
Color Me Scrappy. Added to the color combo I had to use a butterfly and 2 of the same photo (a first for me). When I first saw these colors I didn't think I'd be able to find anything to work with it but then ran across this darling photo of me a little over a year old.
Here is what I created, using some October Afternoon stash. I accepted a challenge at My Scraps & More to find a kit and use it up. I should be doing this every month. I also was inspired by Audrey Yeager as I'm taking a fun class from her so this layout is very inspired by her and it's a sketch from her. I also chose to be a part of this week's challenge at
Inspiration Elevator. I'm not sure who I was supposed to partner with but I chose to be inspired by Audrey, which is an easy thing as I love her style. I chose to use her layering style, the distressed edges, the sewing and splattering. Oh...and she uses the negative space a lot so I created the word "sweet" inspired by her. Thanks for stopping by!
